For the sake of hearing myself speak

If this blog is good for anything, its good for a mood-booster. You can’t help but smile at the pictures. And its worth smiling about the fact that it just exists. Why more parents are doing it these days, I’ll never know.

I think it’s been mentioned here already, but Arwen has been saying, “Dora”, a lot and has now added, “Backpack”, to her repertoire. Though it comes up more like, “Backback”. Also something fairly recent is her saying, “Seep (SHEEP), Baaah”, when she sees a picture of a sheep.
Arwen is very musically inclined as perhaps most children are. She is slowly figuring out rhythm, but actually getting her body to respond correctly is still being worked out.

Rowan has started the first stages of cooing, and aside from some gas, has a good disposition. He’s finally getting used to the swing. Before it seemed like he hated the movement, now he wants it to go really fast. The past couple days he’s been almost exclusively on a formula diet. The jury is still out on his acceptance. He will eat what seems like a ton of food and then get all gassy. Gripe water helps a little, and little leg exercises help as well as make him smile.
