Concerning words, and of routines (patterns).

I’d like to focus on Arwen a bit here. Her development is too rapid to keep up with. Every day she has a new word to say. I would say at this point though, its more mimicry than learning.
She will recognize things based on shape and color, and when something resembles more than one thing, she will rattle off all the things it resembles. (An example could be from today when she saw a stand-up bass and listed: bass, guitar, violin.)
Her love of books has not waned, and music and numbers seem to still be a big part of her day. She is also becoming quite the puzzle builder, reveling in the challenge.

As for routines and patterns, she is something of a stickler.  There are processes she believes ought to be followed. She is a big believer in closed doors and when coming in from the backyard or going up to her room, she won’t move on until the gates are in place and secured. (I’ve tested this by putting the gates in place and not securing them. She tries to secure them herself.)
Stacks… vertical as well as horizontal. She will take her time lining up all her stuffed animals in an arrangement, that to her, is just right. Smaller objects she tries to stack vertically.
Sometimes these stacks are in groups, sometimes by color, sometimes paired. The one common thing is that these stacks are as straight as possible.
