9½ months already and on this day Arwen paid a visit to the doctor. Just a routine check-up, no shots thankfully. Nothing to report. She’s recovered almost fully from her illness and I couldn’t help but note the doctor’s tone in commenting that she is a very healthy baby. Really we’ve been lucky going this long with only the one bout of illness. The vital stats are as follows:
- Length: 29¾ inches (92nd percentile)
- Weight: 20 lbs. 3 oz. (60th percentile)
- Head: 18-19 inches (can’t remember exactly, but 85th percentile)
Other things of note are that she can pull herself up to a standing position and get around the couches and her toys with more and more ease everyday. We were given a little break but she’s back to cutting at least one more tooth. She’s slowly starting to get the whole waving and clapping thing. It won’t be long before she’s standing unsupported. Already she is trying to stand up without a ledge. It’s pretty funny looking.
As I said, time flies… her birthday is creeping closer.
