There have been a lot of changes at home with the arrival of Rowan. Half of the time it feels like we have everything under control and the other half of the time it feels like we are flying by the seat of our pants. It’s to be expected I suppose.
Arwen is growing in so many ways, talking a lot more, using proper words for their corresponding objects. She figures things out too really fast it seems. Still she has the sibling jealousy, but it’s less. We’ve set up her toddler bed and right now its just something else for her to play on, though there have been a few experimental attempts. Potty training is just around the corner. I’m intimidated by the thought and I don’t really know why. Arwen is so good when it comes to routine and I think I am over-emphasizing what “could” go wrong in my mind.
Rowan too is growing, of course. He’s graduated to size 1 diapers and has gained several pounds since birth and even grown 1.25 inches. He has had a cough and a stuffy nose lately, but everyone has. All in all he is doing really well. He is starting to eat like at a Vegas buffet. The little 4 ounce bottles we have are already on the verge of being obsolete.
Tonight marked my return to full time work and as things stand at this very moment, I am not happy about it. It couldn’t last forever though, and we will make it work.
Some things about the site have changed… kind of. I have included the Twitter feeds for the two babies on the site. Just a couple of tweets each. It is so much easier to post updates about them this way when its something little. Go to Twitter and follow them. Arwen is @a3womack and Rowan is @dangerwomack. There you will find news and sometimes pictures and videos that don’t often make it to the site. I have tried to get the @spybaby feed to work with the site, but limitations on my host’s side have made it difficult.
