I think its been some time since an actual update in words has been put up. It’s obvious from the pictures and videos that make it up that things are moving along and the children are developing and generally happy, as they say, the pictures don’t lie.
We’ve been trying for weeks to catch Arwen on video singing the last part of the “Jack’s Big Music Show” theme song. She knows when the camera is on her. Even trying to catch her in the middle of doing something is difficult. On a subconscious level she knows when a camera is turned on and she clams up.
Right now she has some major teething going on. She has bitten through several pacifiers, and sticks anything (except teethers) in her mouth and bites.
Bottles are going to become a matter of contention soon. spyMommy wants to ween her off of them now, but she goes through these odd phases of not wanting anything to do with cups. Other times she drinks from them just fine.
It could be the aforementioned teething but her eating has become erratic also. Some days she eats really good and other days its all we can do to get her to eat even small portions of what’s prepared.
She loves going outside when the weather is nice, and its only going to get nicer. The whole house is happy about that. She has had to sort of relearn how to climb up her slide. When I take her to the Imagination Station she runs around and explores, has a good ol’ time.
Rowan is determined to not let anyone get a decent amount of sleep. He eats every 3 hours still and spends most of his day asleep. He has a good disposition and has started to coo a bit and smiles a whole lot. Also the boy is growing fast. Too fast I think. We’re gonna run out of clothes before we know it. And here we thought we were set for a while. Ha!
We had company over this past Sunday and Rowan did pretty well. I seem to remember Arwen not liking the hubbub of a bunch of people around.
