The visit to the doctor was a bit nerve racking but ended nicely. We went through the normal checks. He performed the test that was needed. Checked my swelling etc. It was decided that I should not return to work ((this , I find both frightening and a relief) ) and stay off my feet as well as keep my legs and feet cool. The pressure and pain I have been having are all normal symptoms of being this far along. I just wish there was something I could do for it.
The baby is head down and actually turned to the other side! She is now facing my right side. I always ask the doctor about position because I want to understand what I am feeling.
The thing that made the visit end nicely …is that after me asking so much about position……he turned on the ultrasound machine and had a little look. It was only a few seconds and all I saw was her head, face and hand but it was wonderful. I am so giddy every time I see her. I just wish I had asked him to check one more time between the legs.
I started washing all the clothes, bedding and bath supplies so that everything is ready when she comes. If she is a he, I doubt those things would be returnable after washing! But I just know…..I feel it……she is a she.
Now I just have to wait….and see the doctor every week. I have been trying to play this little game at home…..guess when the baby will be born and what time.
I think she will be born on the 20th at 9:30 pm.
Spycom said he thinks the 23rd in the afternoon.
Mila said 17th in the afternoon.
I wonder who will be closest?
